I have stayed here a couple of times and it is just fantastic. The Ca’ Sagredo is a 15th century palace and National Monument – a palazzo, once owned by the Sagredo family – a small hotel which is really half hotel and half museum with important works of art by 17th and 18th-century artists: Sebastiano Ricci, Giambattista Tiepolo, Niccolò Bambini and Pietro Longhi. A great location and with only 42 rooms – returning after a day touring and feel the relaxation. Right next to the hotel is the traghetto which will take you over to the Rialto Market – get there early to see the bounty. casagredohotel.com
